Coleslaw Recipe

This was the first time that I had made Coleslaw -- I thought, "How hard could it be?"  And it wasn't at all.  This is a side dish that I am definitely going to try again with just a few minor changes that I'll mention.
What you need:
- Bag of ready made coleslaw mix (of from scratch)
- 1/2 onion (diced)
- 2 Tbs chives (optional)
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 2 Tbs sugar
- salt & pepper (to taste)

What to do:
Chop the onion
Here is the bag of Coleslaw mix that I purchased.
But as you can see from this pic, just shredding up some cabbage and carrot yourself is super easy.
Add the mayo into a small bowl.
Then add the vinegar.
This was the one thing that I would adjust in the future.  It was VERY vinegary.  So next time I will add a tablespoon at a time until I think it tastes just right.  Vinegar can go a long way.
Lastly add the salt and pepper to taste.
Mix this together.
 Pour over the cabbage mixture.
I did not use the chives in this recipe.
